It is in my interest as an artist to observe the beauty of the world in the very instant it unfolds.
Photography for me offers exactly that. The meditative state in which my senses become receptive and ready to experience the poetry of life as it presents itself in front of me.
An instantaneous art indeed, which from my point of view, requires high levels of engagement with the craft before a perfect photograph can come together. Composition, light, emotion, perspective, story, and meaning — all aligned in an instant.
Although this is a rare occasion, it is one that transcends you; and so, through the never-ending pursuit of photography, one can discover the true meaning of life.
